Open Simulation Interface Pedestrian Model

The OSIPedestrian is an OSI based pedestrian model that is able to plan a suitable path to a given destination by itself. It's able to react to traffic participants such as vehicles and other pedestrians and considers traffic lights in its path planning process. The model allows the customization of the pedestrian's physical, such as maximum speed and acceleration, and path planning related properties, like the costs for traversing different terrains. The OSIPedestrian was developed by the BMW AG and Capgemini Engineering within the scope of the SET Level project.
