Many results from the SET Level project have been brought together in a single simulation. The turning of a highly automated vehicle has been investigated regarding potential critical scenarios under the influence of surrounding vehicles as well as pedestrians. This large simulation is based on a complex crossing with traffic lights. Several thousand simulation runs have been executed under stochastic variation of scenario parameters.
The Simulation Use Case of a Criticality Analysis demonstrates the application of simulation standards to achive a modular and flexible simulation setup. The application of mainly open source available tools (e.g. openPASS) and simulation models round of the Simulation Use Case.
